After my last update last night, the Doctor came in an told us that there was nothing that they could do (medicine wise) for the viral meningitis and because she was eating really well and her fever was staying down they said that we could take her home to recover. So we are now at home with her. She is smiling and seems in better spirits. They doctors said it could take up to 2 weeks for her to start acting normal again and for her to start feeling better but they also told us we would be in the hospital for 14 days and were home now! The LORD answers prayers.
Please continue to pray for her recovery. She is a fighter. A strong girl. I feel so blessed that 48 hours ago we weren’t sure what the outcome would be because the doctors said she could have only 24 hours and now she is home in our arms. Safe and whole. We give the Lord all the credit! Thank you so much for you encouragement. We love you all.

hooray! thanks for the update. some friends and i are starting meal service starting tomorrow, and i will get the schedule of when to expect the meals tomorrow as well. STAY IN BED, and just rest and nurse that baby and do not even THINK about work or housework for AT LEAST a week! xoxo

Praise God for His goodness and mercy! What a terrifying thing to have to go through. I’m so sorry that you had to, but I know He is always taking care of us and causes all things to work together for good. So happy that sweet Chloe is home. I will pray for her full recovery. Keep trusting in Him!
That is awesome Amanda…totally crying right now. I can’t imagine having to go through that with one of mine. We were standing on God’s Word and His promises for her and are so happy at His miraculous power. We’ll keep praying, love ya’ll!

I understand how you feel I went through the same thing with my son when he was three months old…he is now 17 years old and every bit the teenage boy…God is good and he is blessing you and your child now…I will continue to pray because the next two weeks there will be ups and downs but more ups than downs.

I am still praying for a speedy recovery for your baby…Like I have stated before I went through the samething with my son, Dylan, when he was 3 mths old and now he is 17 and every bit the teenage boy…you know “I know everything and I don’t see why I have to go to school if they are going to keep teaching the same things over and over again” Now he wants to change schools next year in hopes he will learn different things…so that is what we are working on….
You have a lot to look forward to for your little girl God will bring her and you through this tough time and she will grow up to be the beautiful girl she is meant to be
